Chopta, known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” sits at 2,680 m, offering rolling meadows and alpine forests. Tungnath, at 3,680 m, is the highest Shiva temple in the world. From there, a short climb to Chandrashila summit (4,000 m) rewards trekkers with 360° views of the Himalayas.

Drive from Rishikesh/Dehradun to Chopta. Evening walk through alpine meadows and quaint tea stalls. Overnight in a forest hut.
